Beachcomber
I rained steadily all night last night keeping the creatures of the night scurried into their hidey holes for fear of melting in the rain. As a consequence, my night was rather boring for once, thank you to the powers that govern such things. The rain continued this morning although not quite as heavily as overnight. The only problem being it is payday so that meant I had to go out no matter the weather. Luckily it is not far to get to the bus stop and I have a good umbrella. I am also quite adept at umbrella combat against those seemingly innocent puddles of water along the roadside that become raging deluges attempting to download their contents on you body when attacked by moving vehicles at 40mph. Uncle stayed fairly dry and, true to form, as I finished my errands, the rain stopped, imagine that! I accomplished my abbreviated mission in fairly good order as I did not want to juggle lots of shopping bags and the umbrella while utilizing the transit system to navigate around NLR. I bought a charger and MiMH batteries for the camera which takes great pictures but is somewhat of a power hog. I bought the high capacity kind in hopes of not running out of power in the middle of a shoot, not that it has been a problem, just trying to think ahead.
Remember the computer I setup for the new property down in Shreveport? They got it down there and promptly got it stolen out of the lobby. It must of been someone of less than stellar ability or perception as he passed up 4 plasma flat panel TVs and two lobby computer systems to take the refurbished system behind the counter. This all means I get to reapply my efforts in reprogramming the one Techman2000 is putting together as we speak. I told him to leave off all the extra BS the evil empire pays him to put on there as it would only be in my way and would be deleted anyway. That should save me several hours of effort. The data entry part of setup will take the longest but I have the documentation from the last one which I created in hand so the data input should not be too big an ordeal.
Now I am going to get some rest as I will have to do the programming tomorrow first thing then take of my own business, so I want to be rested up for a very busy day tomorrow. I have another gaming video today, not created by my buddy Will, but sent to me by him last night. It is a parody sequence on Mortal Kombat that will just have you ROFLYAO big time. Then I have a little some some from Ari Gold and a little kissin' and dancin' from Nuke. The last two short videos are gratuitous eye candy vids from AAG just to get you in the mood for today's dessert men-u in the eye candy section. Oh btw, the marvelous photo at the top of the post is my current wallpaper and a delight to see every time I boot up the trusty PC. Until next time as always, Enjoy!
