Techy Update And Sexy Studs

Forgive me for being lazy but I took a nap instead of posting this morning. We had a very busy night at the hotel, we have a baseball tournament at Burns Park all weekend, so I was a little tuckered out when I got home. It was fun but a little tiring, thus the nappy time. I upgraded my browser to Firefox3 the other day and I am really liking it. It has a faster interface so everything loads and displays faster. The session restore does not seem to work as well but that is a little thing as I go the same places mostly and it is not hard to get back to where I was. The history feature is much easier to use with access through both the address and menu bars. You can also bookmark pages from the address bar also by single or double clicking the star icon. A single click gives you an unsorted bookmark, a double click gives you the option of choosing a new or existing folder. The popular add-on Tab Mix Plus does not work in FF3 but there are buttons for the menu bar which accomplish the same tasks. The Yahoo Toolbar is built in but you can use it or hide it, I hide mine but display the Stumble Upon toolbar because it takes me so many interesting places. Overall I am well pleased with the update. As time progresses there will be tweaks I am sure and some of the more popular add-ons will gain functionality within the framework of the browser. Also, because I had such a good paycheck yesterday I thought I would look into adding more memory to speed things up just a little more. I looked my computer up at Dell.com and found that my two memory slots will each handle a 1GB stick for a max memory. Then I found a twin pack of 1GB sticks on sale on line for $77.99, so out came the Visa debit card and in a couple of days I will have all the memory my machine can handle. I am looking forward to seeing how fast it flies with 2GB of memory available. I have never had a machine this fast of my own much less with 2GB of memory so I am kinda geeked about it. My overtime is going to continue for a while so little lifestyle improvements and some savings should be coming down the pike in the weeks to come.
