Most of my day was spent in 12 hours of intense activity that left me sweaty, tired and ready to lock the world away outside my door. Unfortunately all this activity took place on the side of the desk I would rather not have been on. So, no, I did not make it to RiverFest yesterday, I never left the hotel. Around 7:15 I received a desperate phone call from a co-worker who has Crones disease saying she was sick and could not work could I please cover for her. Your Uncle being the kind and gentle soul that he is reluctantly assented to rescue the damsel in distress there upon chucking a major portion of the days plan out the window. It was an intensely busy day behind the desk, not unexpectedly as it is RiverFest and Memorial Day Weekend but the AC in the lobby decided to take its own little vacation leaving the area feeling like mid summer in Dubai. By the time I was finished with my shift at 4 I was a icky sticky mess who was just a little stressed by all the activity. I was home less than an hour when I got called back in to work for another 4 hours which effectively canceled any additional thought of catching the evening happenings at RiverFest . When I arrived home the second time I was too tired to go anywhere so I just chilled at home before turning in early. I have to work this evening so I am going to miss ZZ Top at RiverFest and I have to work again tomorrow evening so I will miss the finale. I guess that means I pretty much missed my first RiverFest but the good thing is that it comes around again next year and we will try again to attend. So that does not leave me with a lot of exciting details on the various aspects of the festival but I do have some entertaining things for your edification. Anyone even semi politically aware in this country knows about Hillary's tremendous gaffe in raising the specter of the RFK assassination this week. Her words did not escape the scrutiny of Keith Olbermann whose Special Comment on the bruhaha I have posted for you here today. I also have the latest ATWT episode with our Nuke bois going to New York to look for Ameera who mysteriously disappeared with Noah's father after he escaped from prison. After the videos comes a special edition of the eye candy section. I was chided recently by a reader who knows me rather well about the editing of the photographs I post here at Nichevo. He told me you guys want to see what I see before I get artistic. So today I have not edited any of the photographs and I present them to you as I have received them. Until next time as always, Enjoy!
