I watched Senator Barack Obama speak in Raliegh, NC last night and again I was impressed and inspired listening to him. I delayed posting this morning until I found the video of the speech he gave which I have posted below. The man has a real grasp of the situation in which this country finds itself and has positive ideas on how to rectify that situation. He is charismatic on the podium, holding his audience with his presence and the power of his words. I am listening to the speech again as I write this. I am not a big fan of political blathering, but when Senator Obama speaks I find myself inextricably drawn into vision he is imparting with his words. He does remind me a lot of JFK in his ability to capture, hold and inspire his audience. For the first time in many years, I am in the rather unusual position of wanting to vote for a candidate rather than choosing the lesser of two evils on the ballot. It is an important time in America to be politically aware and actively seeking solutions to the f****d up quagmire into which George W and his blundering cohorts have driven us. IMHO Senator Obama has solutions for the situations we face, he is the new face America needs to present to the world. It is his time, He is prepared and I believe he will be an effective leader on the world stage. It has been too long a time since I have be able to give whole hearted support to a Presidential candidate, yet this is where I find myself today. I am wholly in the Obama camp. Watch the video and see if you are not inspired also. <BarackObamadotcom>
Now that the politics is out of the way we can move on to other things. I have yesterday's Nuke episode in two parts. There are a lot of shall we say "ambiguous" statements that could be take so many ways in this episode. Luke and Noah are becoming more demonstrative and passionate with each other and Ameera is not handling it well. She may also be plotting with Col. Mayer against the bois. Noah visits the Col. in the second part of the episode and at the tag end there is some gratuitous eye candy scenes with Dr Chris and his six pack just to give it some oomph at the end. Immediately following the Nuke episodes is today's selections in the eye candy section. I guess that is about it, I did make a new friend last night in one of our extended stay guests WS. We are both FireFox2 fans and we spent several hours speaking geek to each other while I was doing the Audit last night. I really enjoyed our conversations and the humorous antics that he displayed. More later on this as we develop our friendship, we have already friended each other at MySpace and Yahoo! Messenger, in fact he has even managed to read a few of my posts. So it is all good here, I have the Audit again tonight and am off tomorrow. Who knows what adventure lurks just over the horizon in the morrow for us to seek? Stay tuned for more adventures in the Journey That Is Nichevo. Until next time as always, Enjoy!
