Busy Weekend Ahead

Cinque Terre, Italy

I got to looking through my archives today and found that I really do have quite the collection of travel photos. In times past I have featured travel type photos at the head of a post whether or not it had anything to do with that particular post so I thought I would return to the practice for a while just to give you guys something else to come around for. I worked the evening shift today and had a night that had spurts of business and periods of quiet times. On Thursday nights at the club it is oldies night and there is a dance club that comes out to rock out to old time rock and roll, most of which I remember from my youth so that was a good soundtrack for the evening. Of course a lot of you guys that visit here have the impression of old rock as something from the early eighties but we are talking 50's and 60's here back before Elvis was heavy and you could still understand most of the words being sung. Not that there is anything wrong with modern music it is just in a different style than that of my youth. I know also that there are those among my visitors who know wherein I speak. At any rate I enjoyed my evening at work and the soundtrack that went with it. We are fairly well booked for the weekend as there is a baseball tournament in town so it should be plenty busy to keep me and my cohorts busy during our shifts.

There is a movie come out later this month by the name of Shelter that is about two surfers that fall in love. You can see the sneak preview of the music video from the move, Lie To Me by up and coming artist Shane Mack here. Of course any movie with hot half naked surfer dudes mackin on each other is bound to gain my interest and I look forward to its release. The movie itself is getting a lot of attention in both the mainstream and gay media. Perhaps it is this year's Brokeback Mountain, we shall see.

Still no Nuke this week but more from across the pond in Holly Oaks posted for you just below:

It is raining up a storm with lots of thunder and lightning as I sit writing this and it is supposed to continue all day so it should be a good day to sleep in rather than get out and about. This is OK by me as cool rainy weather is perfect for napping and I don't have to get out in it to go to work as there is a covered walkway from my location in the hotel to the domed portion where I work. AS it is such good sleeping weather , that is where I will head for now and catch you guys here tomorrow. Until next time as always, Enjoy!

I love that Cinque Terre photo. It looks like a children's book illustration by an artist with a wild and vivid imagination.

I love all the guys, too--a great collection of Asians in there.

Hope you're adjusting all right to your new home!
