Transition Update

It has been a flurry of activity around here for the past few days. I am looking at my life packed in boxes before my eyes as I write this update. The only thing not packed is my computer and the glass top desk it is sitting on. I have already pulled the plug on the printer and all the desk accessories are packed. My actual travel day is now Wednesday having changed from yesterday to next Sunday to Wednesday all in the space of 24 hours. No matter though as I am ready to go and it will take just a minute to pull the plug on the computer and put it in Taj's car for the trip. I will spend Thursday settling in to my new home and should be back on line actively on Friday. I don't know which day I will actually start my new position but I am sure I will find out between now and then. Tomorrow promises to be a super busy day finalizing some contractual things for the moving company, turning in my current cell phone and activating my new one and then Gal Pal wants to take me out for Mexican food and Margaritas as a farewell thing. She is excited and sad at the same time saying "I'm losing my best friend!", which of course she is not I am just moving 5 hours down the freeway from her and my cell phone will still have a Dallas area code so it will be easy for her to call me. On top of all that I still have to work the mid shift tonight as my last shift here in Big D. I am glad I am not driving Wednesday as I will need to nap on the way there just to catch up with myself. Thankfully Little Rock is still in the same time zone so I don't have to deal with that transition also. So now I am ready to go and it is just a matter of passing the next 36 hours until we load the truck and boogie on down the road to start the next exciting adventure in my life. I could not post an update without selecting some eye candy to go with it so I will leave you with that and catch y'all on Friday here at Nichevo with my first post from Arkansas. Until next time as always, Enjoy!
