Sunday Morning Quiet Time

I just love Sunday Mornings. The really obnoxious party hardy folks from the night before are sleeping it off, non party folks are sleeping late and there is quiet to be found all around. It is a time when you can have your coffee, read the paper and laze around the house without feeling guilty because you have so many things to do like on most days. Here of late I have been using Sunday mornings to catch up on things I did not get done during the week, but today I am just going to take it easy. Later on I will watch the AFC/NFC championship games though with out the Cowboys in the mix, I have less enthusiasm for them than I would if the Cowboys were playing. I would like the Packers to beat the Giants as the Giants beat the Cowboys. I want San Diego to beat New England just to spoil the perfect season, but I do not see that happening. It will probably be the Packers and the Patriots in the Super Bowl, with the Patriots winning it all. This will result in Tom Brady being crowned King of the World and the Patriots will finally replace the Miami Dolphins as the team with the record to beat.

After that I will just relax until it is time for me to go to work at 10 PM and start my week all over again. But for right now it is quiet and I am going to enjoy the day, surf the net, maybe chat with a couple of blog buddies, for sure I will pig out during the games with some serious junk food. Just a time to recharge before a busy week. Part of relaxing for me is listening to good music. You guys know I am a classical music fanatic, but I do venture off into other genre's here and there. I saw the following video yesterday and thought it would fit in with this morning. It was recorded at the September 25th Elton John AIDS benefit "An Enduring Vision", herewith is K D Lang and "Hallelujah":

As Long as we are talking music, here are 3 of my favorite videos. The first is Il Divo with "La Vida Sin Amor" from their CD Siempre, then Australia's little Gay hunk Anthony Callea with his rendition of "the Prayer" followed by Josh Groban with his amazing video "per Te":

I hope this has helped you enjoy your Sunday morning quiet time, it sure has made mine more enjoyable. So to add to an already fabulous day, here are some of the best photos I found this week for your viewing pleasure. Until next time as always, Enjoy!
