Exciting Times

I have entered an exciting phase in my life, finally! After spending so much of the last year unemployed or under employed, I am beginning to make progress. As I have mentioned in earlier posts, I have had a couple things in development. My project has finally started to gel. I have partnered with a gentleman in a business venture wherein I basically have free reign. I am now the General Manager of a moving company here in the Dallas area. We are small at present and I run the company out of my home. It is starting to take off though and I expect it to be a profitable venture for all concerned. I have a couple of excellent crews with many years of experience that have all been received well and complimented on the services rendered. I am excited and motivated, feeling purposeful for the first time in a long time.

For those of you who have been here from the beginning, you will remember that I started Nichevo in November of last year after my first month of unemployment. I spent the first month totally depressed and have been working my way out of it ever since. For sure this year has presented it's challenges, but Uncle Gerry seems to have found his way out of the forest of depression and onto the beach of opportunity. It is a welcome change which I greet with open arms. So if you know of anyone moving locally in the DFW area, drop me an email and I will see to it they have a stress free move to their new home.

I hope you all have enjoyed the last few posts as I have tried to feature parts of my archives which I do not often display to give you a sampling of the breadth of my collections. I have about 30,000 images stored on my computer and counting. Today's eye candy section contains some recent acquisitions that I hope you will enjoy!
