Out of the Darkness

After 17 long days of darkness, the property where I live has finally managed to repair the internet connection to my part of the complex so I can once again commune with the world. For a while there it seemed like my little icons were never going to light up again. In order to prevent future periods of intense darkness, I am in the process of obtaining a private personal internet connection so perhaps I will not experience being cut off from the world for extended periods of time due to the inability of this property to maintain a connection. One can only hope!

During this latest blackout, I did receive several emails readers both old and new, replete with kind words for my blog and some excellent photographs. There was some sad news also as my favorite couple, Ryan and Mike from Boys Are Ugly. have decided to leave active blogging. I can understand their decision, however I will miss their posts. Mike is now out the inpatient phase of his rehab, but there is still a long road ahead for full recovery. He is making remarkable progress as witnessed by his last post where he sounded more like his old self than ever. I know Ryan is thrilled to have him back at home and I do not blame them for wanting to spend more time together with a concentration on returning Mike to robust health. I received some emails asking me to comment on their blog to persuade them to begin posting again, but I feel this is a personal decision on their part and as much as I will miss their regular posts, I do not think this is the last the blogosphere will hear from them. I will continue to update you on them as I am in contact with them via email and messenger. Perhaps in the months to come we might even persuade them to do a guest post here at Nichevo. Whatever may happen, my love and best wishes go out to them and their families.

One of the emails I received was from a new reader, Keith, from KeithKats Male Iconography. I have added a link to this refreshing new blog in the Reads and Links section of the sidebar so you can check him out. Keith is an artist living in California who just started blogging in June, displaying excellent photography, original art and art by other artists he admires. He is prolific in his posting with 74 posts since inception. I have not perused June's posts as yet but July's are an eyeful of which there is a sample just below this paragraph.

As you can see, he has exquisite taste in male erotica as well as being a talented artist, so I encourage you to pay him a visit. Just tell him Uncle Gerry sent you over to take a look. Thanks for writing Keith and welcome to Nichevo, we will be keeping an eye on your blog!

I have also added a link for Eden Fantasys, a comprehensive site for sex toys, erotic clothing, books, DVDs, stories, articles and editorials. They sent me an email requesting a link exchange and also asked if I might be interested in review some of their products and/or writing an article to which I responded positively. We will see where this goes and keep you posted as updates become available.

While I was immersed in internet darkness, the pop duo Nemesis Rising released their first album in an iTunes exclusive. The duo, twin brothers from Montana, were featured earlier this year on Logo in a mini series chronicling their path from Montana to Los Angeles and the various steps they undertook to launch their career. It was not an especially easy task as they came out in a very public way during the process. Raised as Jehovah's Witnesses in rural Montana then realizing and accepting their orientation as well as launching their bid for success in the music biz proved to be a challenge to which they rose admirably. The mini series is available at Logo online and you can listen to the entire album here. You can also visit their official website to sign up for their newsletter and get the latest tour information as well as other facts about this terrific team of talented musicians.

That about wraps it up for now so I will close out with the traditional does of eye candy for your enjoyment. Thanks for sticking with me during this period of darkness of which I hope I have no more anytime soon. Welcome to all my new readers and welcome back all of you who have faithfully checked for new posts from yours truly. Until next time as always, Enjoy!
