Well I found out why my internet connection has mysteriously reappeared. It seems the properties I work for finally found someone who knows what they are doing who talked them into replacing all the routers in the system so the guests could once again receive a proper signal and access the wonderful www. I am so glad, living without internet access is almost like living in the dark ages. I have almost caught up with my email back log but have yet to catch up on the various blogs I visit on a regular basis. Never fear, I will get there eventually. Anyway, my week end schedule is rather crowded as I work for two different properties that are next door to each other. I work the morning shift at the property where I reside on Saturday and Sunday and the midnight shift next door on Sunday and Monday. That means a 16 hour day on Sunday with a 7 hour break between shifts, so you will probably not be getting many Sunday posts. But that leaves plenty of time during the week to catch up on other things and plan out some good posts for you guys.
Ryan over at Boys Are Ugly But So Cute posted yesterday about Mike's progress. The doctors are going to reset his ankle then allow him to be moved to a rehab facility next week. This is very good news as it marks a turning point in his recovery that is very welcome indeed. He is feeling so much better that he asked Ryan's mom to bring him a bologna burger with onions to supplement his hospital diet. If he is wanting that, then he is indeed feeling much better. I know Ryan is happy about this as am I. If ever there was a young couple that exemplifies all the good things about a loving relationship between two men, they are the ones to look to. I have been reading their blog and conversing with them for some months now and am constantly amazed at the depth and breadth of their love for each other and the amazing relationships they have with their loving families in Georgia and West Virginia. They as a group represent the true Family Values we should all desire and aspire to. My thoughts and prayers are with them always for Mike's speedy recovery and a continuation of their lives and loves together for many years to come.
For today's eye candy I am posting gleaning from my email back log from various readers and affiliations I have on the web. I want to thank all those who have sent me photos and cartoons and stayed with me through my internet connections problems of the last few weeks. Your words of encouragement and your submissions are truly welcomed by me and I am sure my other readers will enjoy them as much as I. So until next time as always, Enjoy!
