Cyndi Lauper appeared on The View singing the theme song from the True Colors Tour 2007 to promote the tour which kicks off a 15 city fund raising campaign for the Human Rights Commission in Las Vegas on June 8th to coincide with Gay Pride Month. Cyndi will be joined by Erasure, The Dresden Dolls, Debbie Harry, The Gossip, The Misshapes and the tour will be hosted by Margaret Cho. Special guests along the way will be Judy Shepard (Matthew's mom), Rosie ODonnel, Rufus Wainwright, Cazwell, Amanda Lepore, The Cliks, Indigo Girls, and Jeffree Star. Each stop will be a 5 hour event bringing together Americans across the country to voice their solidarity against discrimination and for equality in order to raise public awareness about issues facing the GLBT community. Cyndi says: "As an American I was raised to believe that all people have the same right to live with the same dignity, opportunity and safety. This should include everyone no matter gender or sexual orientation." One dollar of every ticket sold will go to HRC. To find out more about this tour follow this link.
