I just read your interview with Ryan... I spent 18 years in the Canadian Air Forces but I got out in 1997 because I couldn't be me and couldn't get into a relationship due to the policies of the time... In 2002, I joined the Naval Reserve, with my new status... "Same-sex common in-law"... I was so happy to be able to go back to serve in the Forces, and for 2007 I will transfer to Regular forces. I saw a major change in Policies here in Canada about Homosexuality in the Forces and in the Government. I'm able to go to all the unit functions with my partner and enjoy like everyone else... I'm sure that not everybody like that but we're able to go without the fear of reprimand or abuse. During the 5 years I was away from service, I miss it and I had problem dealing with "civilian job"... I'm all military... Take Care Raymond
