Music & Other Beautiful Things

This morning I wasinspired by one of my readers, pennwoodbob in PA who wrote to me about his favorite music video over at You Tube, so I went on over to check it out and was truly impressed with the young man that I found there. So in that vein, I have created this post featuring six videos by three artists, two of which have been long time favorites and then the one that Bob turned me on to. The three artists have a common thread in that they all sing both in English and Italian plus they are all drop dead gorgeous. Now I now that most of you out there do not speak Italian, but that really is not necessary because the music is the message and if you listen, you will not have any problem receiving what they are giving. I will present the newest artist first. He is a young Aussie who wowed them on Australian Idol whose name is Anthony Callea. He is young and good looking but most impressive is his vocal range and expression. Give him a listen and you will be as impressed as I was. Next up after Anthony is a young man whom you American readers should be familiar with, Josh Groban. He is a fabulous baritone with a tremendous voice that envelops you in the music. The third artist is a quartet from Italy whose debut album I play on my Today's List in iTunes constantly. They made quite a splash in the gay press last year and are known as Il Divo. These guys blow me away every time I listen to them. I hope you guys enjoy the music as much as I enjoy bringing it to you. As time goes by I will feature music that I think you all will like. I listen mostly to classical music but I have had my rock periods and am aware of some good music in the hip hop genre. So my musical taste could be considered eclectic. I guess my whole persona could be considered eclectic as my interests are myriad and diverse. The videos are interspersed with eye candy to provide you with visual as well as audio inspiration. Until next time, as always, Enjoy!
