"Palm Colony"
Maybe this is the new body dynamic that is setting in, work late, snack some, sleep some then get up and post something for you guys. It seems to be heading in that direction anyway. I wonder how long it will take my body to readjust after G gets back? I have a feeling I will be out of whack for the next month. Ah well, such is life. If you remember, I was somewhat grumpy in yesterday's post, so I perfomed the ritual exorcism of a healthy Gay man; I applied shopping therapy to assuage my soul. As I recorded in past pages, I am decorating the apartment piece by piece as I find what I think goes with the overall decor scheme. Pictured below is the result of my therapy session, new high thread count bedclothes for the boudoir:
Now I just have to find some real furniture accent pieces to replace the temporary storage I have now (which will fit nicely under the shelf in the walk in closet when it is replaced, no waste there!). I found a rug for the living room that is similar to the one on my wish list only for less money, so I think I will get that today. This will subdivide the front room into living and office areas without decreasing the spaciousnous of the room as a whole. One step at a time, I will exercise my Gay shopping gene to turn my little corner of the world into a comfortable, fashionable retreat from the world outside my door where I can commune with all my friends and fans the world over. I will post the progress reports in these pages so you can let me know what you think of the results of my "therapy sessions". It's a tough job but somebody's got to do it , huh?
I have done some thinking about the artwork for the walls. As there is none as yet, I pretty much have a blank canvas here. I think I will shop in my archives for photos that will enlarge well into poster size. I have over 80,0 photos on my hard drive of both human and non human images to choose from as you have seen in these pages. This should be fun, I can spend time slowly making the choices that will fit the decor of each room, download them to the ole flash drive, then off to Kinkos to have giant prints made for framing. Sound like a plan to me! If you have any favorites from past posts you think would go with any area of my apartment, I am certainly open to suggestion and I am in no hurry to make my choices. After all a guy has to shop now doesn't he?
I also have provided for you guys out there in the blogosphere a therapy session of your very own. In keeping with the trend of introducing new themes into the eye candy section this week, I hope you will take time to "shop" for your choice to fantasize about for this Friday night from these beautiful Boys on the Beach which I have selected for you.
