Good News, Great Music, Gorgeous Guys

The Charter tech came out yesterday and discovered what has been causing our problems with the Internet.  We are experiencing signal drain caused by cable thieves who have broken into the ports to steal the signal.  So Charter is going to replace the box outside and lock it down to prevent further theft.  This should happen in the next 2-7 days and then we should not experience any further problems like we have been.  This is a relief as inconsistent Internet access is a real pain in the ass to deal with when so much of your time is spent on the Internet.  It makes posting to this blog a real adventure sometimes as the signal drain is mostly on the upload side.  This probably explains the problems I have been having with Picasa3 uploading photos to Blogger.  Hopefully all this will be a bad memory in just a few short days.

It seems I am on a Piano bent with a Russian flavor this week musically with either the performer, composer or both being Russian. Today is no different as both the composer and the soloist are Russian in today's play list.  The composer is also one I have yet to feature here at Nichevo.  The play list for today contains the Piano Concerto in F Minor, Opus 20 by Alexander Scriabin performed by Anatol Ugorski and the Chicago Symphony Orchestra conducted by Pierre Boulez.  The art work in the videos are according to the up loader, Starwalker6978, "nice fantasies on extraterrestrial worlds".  Speaking of "nice fantasies", today's collection of Humpable Hunks should spark a few fantasies all your own, so scroll on down and find your fantasy.  Thanks for stopping by my corner of the world, come again soon and bring your friends!  Until next time as always, Enjoy!

More Adventures in Computing

Yesterday, I told you guys of our Internet issues here at home.  Last night at work I had some adventures with the ISP  when the software update crashed the server at the store.  It did not take long to get it back up, it took longer to get someone on the phone than it took to correct the problem.  In the meantime, I could not sell gas or process any credit or debit cards.  Luckily it was after 2 AM, so the loss off business was minimal.  Still it livened up a somewhat boring night.   The creatures of the night try to hole up when it gets cold out so we did not get a bunch of strange people wondering in and out.  That will not be the case tomorrow night as it is the last day of the month and midnight madness will strike again as the clock passes from one month to the next.  Ah, every night a new (or recurring) adventure is there to keep things from getting dull, lol.  Such is the life of a convenience store in the middle of the night deep in the hood.

I did not sleep real well yesterday, so I took a little power nap before sitting down to get this post out to y'all there in cyberspace.  It did me a lot of good, so now I have the energy to get some things done and deal with the Charter people when they come out to check all the stuff for our Internet connection.   They should be here in an hour or so, therefore I best be getting this post published before they take me off line to check things out.  For your musical selection today I have another video from Daniil Trifonov as I told you about yesterday.  It is a recording of Piano Concerto Number 1 by Peter Ilyich Tchakovsky from Trifonov's recent appearance with the Mariinsky Orchestra at Carnegie Hall.  The video runs about 35 minutes so you will have plenty of time to scope out the sultry Sexy Studs in Swimwear cavorting about the page below the video.  I am off tonight, so I will work on something to wow you with tomorrow when you come to pay another visit here at Nichevo.  Thanks for coming by my neck of the woods today. Until next time as always, Enjoy!
