Happy Halloween!

The weekend was a mixed bag of things good and bad.  The bad things were all sports related as the Rangers lost the World Series to the Cardinals in game 7 on Friday Night and then  the Cowboys failed to show up for last night's game as evidenced by the final score of 34-7 Eagles.  So metroplex sports fans were not happy campers at all.  The good stuff was Saturday night in that most people had a Halloween party to attend and costumes abounded among my customers all night.  Best costume awards went to the trio who dressed  as Mario, Luigi and Princess Peach from the land of video games and also to my favorite bartender who was fabulous as Ms Bitchy Witch complete with flowing dress and cape.  Sunday was just kinda dead so there was not excitement there but it was nice not to have to rush through things all night.  Tonight is Halloween, so no telling what will be up with the people tonight.  How about you, will you be dressing out and partying down or trying to avoid the whole thing?  LOL!

I have some really good stuff for your musical interlude on this All Hallows Eve with the last public performance by Vladimir Horowitz of the Piano Concerto Number 3, Opus 30 in D Minor by Sergei Rachmaninoff.   Recorded in 1978 at Avery Fisher Hall in New York with the New York Philharmonic Orchestra under the direction of Zubin Mehta.  Following the video is a really delicious edition of Monday's Undies.   I was going to do a Halloween themed eye candy section but decided I would go with these guys as I would have no problem getting a little "devilish" with any one of them, he he.  Hope you guys have a Happy Halloween, we will catch you here tomorrow.  Until next time as always, Enjoy!

This, That And The Other Thing...

My cable TV and internet went out during the 6th inning of Game 6 last night. The Cardinals rallied twice to beat the Rangers 10-9 to force a Game 7 tonight at 7:05 CDT.  I am hoping the Rangers pull it out in Game 7 for their first ever World Series Title.  The Rangers have not lost back to back games since sometime back in August, so that bodes well for the Rangers.

I don't know if I am really feeling better or am just faking it.  I suppose I won't know how I really feel until I return to work on Saturday night.  Saturdays are always a good night for madness and mayhem so we shall see how this one turns out.  I still think I am going to have to seek an alternate position somewhere to maintain my long term sanity.  Jobs however are not so easy to come by these days, especially for one in my age bracket.  I know there is not supposed to be any age discrimination, but that does not stop it from happening in a lot of instances.  So I may be stuck where I am for a while yet.

I am trying something different for today's musical selection with a video from Blue Light Gallery  who puts streaming radio into a video format.  This particular video runs for over 2 and a half hours and I don't know what pieces are going to be played other than they will be public domain classical pieces.  following the video is this week's edition of Naked or Nearly So with some really hot skater boys and rugby athletes among the mix of hot bodies on display.  Leave a comment or email me on what you think of the video and/or the hot guys.  Thanks for starting your weekend here at Nichevo.  Until next time as always, Enjoy!
