Welcome to the weekend and your Saturday at the Symphony Evening Concert. I had to work late last night. This was due to the rain (which is still with us as we speak), the truck being a little late and extra items on the delivery because we are not getting a truck next Friday due to the Thanksgiving Holiday, Black Friday et cetera. I have just gotten home this evening and as such have not got much prepared except for some Beautiful Music and Numerous Nubile and Naked Men. So let's just get right to it, shall we?
Our featured selection this evening is the Symphony Number 3 in A Minor, Opus 56 "Scottish" by Felix Mendelssohn with a performance by the London Symphony Orchestra under the baton of John Eliot Gardner. You may also hear the classic 1958 recording by Leonard Bernstein and the New York Philharmonic of Mendelssohn's Symphony Number 4, Opus 90 "Italian" over on my tumblr.
To complement the Beautiful Music by Mendelssohn, I have a collection of lean, nubile and most definitely Naked or Nearly So prime examples of Art in the Male Form.
